I'm a sense maker. For me sense is both an embodied experience and a form of logical storytelling. Sense is foundational to how I know myself and the world. I sense textures, colors, heat, vibrancy, rhythms, and stillness. And I work to make sense of this embodied information through story, movement, and action.
I'm a whole life coach driven by supporting others as they sense into their embodied lives and make sense of what they find in order to act in alignment with where they want to go.
Making sense, and living a life WithSense, is about building and sustaining connections between ourselves, others, and the larger world. It's capacity building. Building our capacity to be with what's difficult, what's joyful, and what's most alive to each of us on our individual journeys.
WithSense Coaching holds open a space to dig deep into how we sense and live into our most embodied and alive selves. This is deeply personal transformation that has real world ramifications. As we grow into our capacity to live our most alive selves we take bold action, lead with deep integrity and courageous initiative, and open ourselves to profound connections with others and the world around us.
I've been coaching and supporting people to make sense of their lives and work for over 20 years as a coach, educator, facilitator, and theatre artist. I'm a certified coach through the Co-Active Training Institute and credentialed through The International Coaching Federation (ICF).
I have a PhD in Performance Studies from University of Toronto and a MA in Performance Studies from NYU. I'm a business communication coach at ARTiculate: Real&Clear. I've worked in higher education as a professor of Gender and Women's Studies at University of Toronto and University of Denver. Additionally, I'm an Associate Artist with Local Theatre Company in Boulder Colorado.
I'm a wife, a mom of teenage boys, a devoted friend, a half-marathoner, a dancer, a philosopher, a life-long learner, and a dreamer.
I value aliveness, growth, adventure, connection, integrity, play, nature, family, and balance.
I'm nourished by movement – running, dance parties in the living room, and keeping up with my two sons.
I love finding beauty in the small things – morning coffee, the light coming through the trees, the sound of laughter.
